Route calculation fails

Check your internet connection and try again. MicroRoute needs access to its routing service and Mapbox while calculating routes.

Location is inaccurate

Ensure Precise Location is enabled for MicroRoute in iOS Settings and that the phone has a clear GPS signal.

Navigation screen sleeps

The screen should remain awake during active navigation. Tell us your app version and device model if it does not.

No voice guidance

Check that guidance is not muted in the navigation screen and that your device volume is audible.

Report an incorrect route

You can use the Report button during navigation to save a road issue locally. You can export saved road reports from MicroRoute Settings and attach the export to your support email. Do not interact with the app while driving; stop somewhere safe first.

For a C9 or OB54 issue, include a clear description of the sign location and direction of travel. Real-world signs and closures always take priority over MicroRoute guidance.

Current service area

MicroRoute is currently designed for brommobielen and 45 km/h microcars in the Netherlands. Routes exclude motorways, autowegen, roads above 80 km/h, and known C9 restrictions without a relevant exception. Roads up to and including 80 km/h may be used when legal, but are avoided where a reasonable calmer alternative exists.

Privacy, diagnostics, and deletion

Road reports and diagnostic logs remain on your device unless you choose to export them. You can clear them from Settings. Deleting MicroRoute removes its locally stored data. Read the full Privacy Policy.

Safety

Always follow real-world traffic signs, closures, and traffic rules. MicroRoute guidance is advisory and may not reflect a recent road change. Do not operate the app while driving. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.
