1. The MicroRoute service
MicroRoute is a navigation app designed for brommobielen and 45 km/h microcars in the Netherlands. It calculates routes using available map, road, restriction, and traffic-sign data.
MicroRoute excludes motorways, autowegen, roads tagged above 80 km/h, and known C9 restrictions without a relevant exception. Roads up to and including 80 km/h may be used when legal, but MicroRoute prefers slower and calmer alternatives where possible.
2. Guidance is advisory
Map and restriction data may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Road conditions and signs can change without notice. You remain responsible for complying with real-world traffic signs, closures, laws, and safe-driving requirements. If app guidance conflicts with the road situation, do not follow the app guidance.
3. Safe use
Set your destination before driving. Do not interact with MicroRoute while driving; stop somewhere safe first. Do not place your device where it blocks your view or interferes with vehicle controls.
4. Road reports
You may create reports about barriers, closures, incorrect restrictions, speed limits, or routing issues. Reports currently remain on your device unless you choose to export and share them. Only submit information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and do not include unnecessary personal information.
5. App Store purchases
If MicroRoute is purchased through Apple's App Store, payment, refunds, and related purchase terms are handled by Apple under the terms associated with your Apple account and applicable consumer law.
6. Intellectual property and map data
MicroRoute's app design, code, branding, and original content are owned by Astron Tech B.V. Map and routing data include data from Mapbox and OpenStreetMap contributors and remain subject to their applicable licences and terms.
7. Availability and changes
MicroRoute relies on internet access, our routing infrastructure, and third-party services. We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, update, change, or discontinue parts of the service where reasonably necessary.
8. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MicroRoute is provided without a guarantee that every suggested route is suitable, legal, available, or safe at the time you drive it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded under Dutch or EU consumer law.
9. Termination
You may stop using MicroRoute at any time by deleting the app. We may restrict access where necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law, without limiting mandatory rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as MicroRoute develops. We will update the date above and communicate material changes where appropriate.
